What we do and how we do it

DASCAS gives independent advice and help to Wandsworth residents on any aspect of disability and related social care issues.

Please make an appointment if you want an office interview.

We are happy to arrange to visit you at home any week day except Friday if you are unable to come to the office.

Please invite a relative or a friend to accompany you when you meet us if you feel that would help.

We can arrange for an interpreter if you find it difficult to understand English. Similarly we can arrange for someone who knows sign language if you have a hearing difficulty. But please let us know before we meet you if you need help so that we can arrange for the right person to be there.

We are only able to help those people who live in Wandsworth. If you live in another borough please get in touch with your local council which should be able to provide you with a contact telephone number.
