We offer a delicious range of freshly prepared pub food “classics” alongside daily specials and roasts on Sundays, as well as imaginative vegetarian choices.  

Wherever possible, we use locally-produced ingredients, and our menu features the best of seasonal foods.  Every effort is made to source free-range meat, poultry and eggs, and to ensure that other produce is from welfare-friendly and sustainable sources. 
 
We are proud of our wide selection of beers, wines, spirits and other drinks.  Real ales include a fine range from Greene King, as well as local guest beers, such as West Berkshire Brewery.  Our top quality wines from around the world are picked for their taste and value, with many of them available by the glass. 
  
Food throughout the day! We'll do our best to serve you something, such as soup or sandwiches, outside our normal ordering times if we possibly can. Please ask us. We can readily cater for dietary requirements and, of course, for younger guests.
